‘Spurs break my heart’ – Finn Balor reveals unique way he can watch Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest after WrestleMania

Finn Balor is ready to get hurt again – and not just because he lost his WWE tag team titles at WrestleMania XL.

Balor was in action at ‘Mania 40 on Saturday but will have to make a fast recovery to watch his beloved Tottenham host Nottingham Forest a day later.

While he’s nursing his inevitable wounds from his tag team ladder match as part of the Judgement Day, Balor plans to catch Spurs live – and he has a good feeling about the match.

With Ange Postecoglou’s men having won 11 of their 15 home Premier League matches this term and travel-sick Forest having won two from their previous 25 on the road, the grappler’s optimism may be well founded.

He knows, though, that much like life in WWE, the course of a Premier League season rarely runs smoothly, so for now he’s just hoping for the best.

He told talkSPORT: “I’ll definitely watch it; I have an app on my phone where I can watch all the games live.

“After watching the West Ham game… they get my hopes up, then they break my heart.

“I think I’m on a ‘hopes up’ against Forest, but we’ll see.”

Postecoglou has Spurs on the cusp of the Champions League places heading into the weekend, and Balor has been impressed with the job the Aussie is doing.

He added: “I’ve a big soft spot for the Australian people and the country.

“We were just out there for Elimination Chamber and it was an incredible time and an incredible place, and we’re looking forward to going back there soon.”

Balor’s weekend will be busy enough with the Spurs clash, and the day job of defending his Undisputed WWE tag team titles on Saturday night.

Alongside Damian Priest, The Judgement Day will have to fend off five other teams to escape Philadelphia with their gold.

Damian Priest and Finn Balor from The Judgement Day were speaking to talkSPORT with WWE 2k24, which is out now.
