When is the Target Car Seat Trade-In 2024? Dates, info, how to get 20% off coupons
Target’s Car Seat Trade-In 2024 is back for another year of baby gear discounts.
The highly anticipated semi-annual event runs from April 14-27 and allows customers to trade in their old car seats for a 20% discount to be used toward future purchases on baby gear.
The coupon will be available in the Target Circle app after you drop off your old car seat in any condition in the designated box in-store near Guest Services.
Scan the QR code on the box, and click “Add to Target Circle Bonus.” You can use the coupon twice through May 11.
Target will accept and recycle infant car seats, convertible car seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats, along with car seats that are expired or damaged at all Target stores, except for select small format stores. It’s best to contact your local store to confirm.
You can use the 20% discount toward a new car seat, booster seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller or select baby gear and stack it with other coupons.
According to Target, its partners used the materials from the old car seats to create new products, like pallets, plastic buckets and construction materials, including steel beams and carpet padding.
Target held the first car seat trade-in event in April 2016.
“Since then, 2.6 million car seats — or 39 million pounds of car seat material — have been recycled,” according to the retailer.
