Harding Men’s Golf Reaches Regionals for Third Straight Season

SEARCY – For the third consecutive season and the fifth time in program history, the Harding men’s golf program received an invitational to the NCAA Division II Central/Midwest Regional Tournament.

Harding, the runner-up at the Great American Conference Championship earlier this week, is the No. 4 seed from the Central Region.

The 20-team Central/Midwest Regional will take place May 9-11 at the KickingBird Golf Course in Edmond, Oklahoma, with Southern Nazarene as the host.

The top five teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 21-25 at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge in Winter Garden, Florida.  The finals will be hosted by Rollins College and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.

Last season, Harding placed fifth at the regional and advanced to the finals, finishing tied for eighth nationally.
