MariaDB stock sinks after Progress Software announces no intention to make an offer

- Progress Software (NASDAQ:PRGS) said on Thursday it does not plan to make an offer for MariaDB (NYSE:MRDB).
- Shares of MRDB sunk 24.5% in extended trading.
- Shares of PRGS were down 1.4%.
- Last week, PRGS confirmed that it was considering a possible offer for all the issued and to be issued share capital of MariaDB plc at a value of $0.60/share.
