Dybala Nears Contract Renewal with AS Roma
Italian news reports have revealed that Argentine star Paulo Dybala is close to renewing his contract with AS Roma during the current period.
The Italian newspaper “tuttomercatoweb” stated that Dybala will continue wearing the Roma jersey for at least another three years, as the two parties are very close to reaching an agreement on renewing the Argentine player’s contract.
The newspaper added that Dybala’s contract renewal with Roma is just one step away. The player will extend his contract until 2026 with an option for an additional year and an improvement in his current salary, along with adjustments to the release clause.
Dybala, 29 years old, joined Roma on a free transfer after his contract with Juventus expired last summer. He scored 18 goals and provided eight assists in 38 matches across all competitions.
Recently, the Argentine star Paulo Dybala jokingly dismissed rumors linking him to a move to Chelsea FC. When asked about his future by a fan at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone over the weekend, Dybala laughed off the question without giving a direct answer.
