Reims predicted XI v Brest: Thibault De Smet suspended, Mohamed Damary out
It is all change on the sidelines for Stade de Reims. Les Stadistes replaced Will Still with Samba Diawara in a shock move last week. Interim manager Diawara will be in place until the end of the season and begins his ephemeral tenure against Stade Brestois on Friday night.
Diawara replaces Still with almost nothing to play for. Whilst there still remains a mathematical chance of Reims securing some form of European football in the remaining three games of the Ligue 1 season, it is highly unlikely. Injured players have returned in recent weeks and Diawara will at least be blessed with choice as he makes his first team selection.
Thibault De Smet, who was sent off in the heavy 4-1 defeat to Clermont Foot almost a fortnight ago, is suspended for the encounter, whilst Mohamed Damary is also out through injury.
Reims likely lineup v Brest
Yehvann Diouf; Sergio Akieme, Yunis Abdelhamid, Emmanuel Agbadou, Thomas Foket; Teddy Teuma, Benjamin Stambouli, Marshall Munetsi; Reda Khadra, Oumar Diakité, Junya Ito. (L’Éq)
